Katherine Heigl has posed semi-naked in a saucy new advertising campaign for pets.
The dog lover covers her breasts with a puppy in the public service announcement for website IHateBalls.com.
The ad urges pet owners to spay and neuter their furry friends, The Daily Express reported.
Heigl wears nothing but panties along with high-heeled shoes and a grin in the provocative video, joking, “Unfortunately I can’t cut the nuts off human men – yet. So I’ve dedicated my time to the neutering of dogs because that’s legal.”

Actress Katherine Heigl, cofounder of the Jason Debus Heigl Foundation, is named after her 15 year-old brother who was killed in a car accident in 1986. Last week, Katherine adopted Rufus, a two-month old pit bull puppy from the California City Shelter. The puppy had been used as a bait dog, and there were puncture wounds and abscesses around his neck area. Heigl later found out that Rufus’ neck vertebra was splintered, and the dog would be required to wear a full body cast for the next few months. Heigl decided to take the puppy home with her.
Heigl’s charity entitled Hounds of Hope rescues pets with little chance of ever being adopted. Their mission is to end the needless suffering inflicted on animals by animal cruelty, indifference, and ignorance in the greater Los Angeles area. The program concentrates on big dogs and trains them to be more adoptable. Heigl realizes many people have a fear of big dogs, but through training and education, she hopes that more big dogs will have better chances of people wanting them.
The 32 year-old actress, according to the National Enquirer brought the new ailing puppy home for her adopted daughter Naleigh.
Heigl now owns six rescue dogs, and with her mother Nancy hopes to make a profound difference in animal rescue. Both Heigl and her mother Nancy have launched a spay and neuter program to encourage people not to breed. Every weekend for a year, the spay and neuter services will be offered. Both Nancy and Katherine agree you can not save them all, but both know they are making a difference.
“We love animals, and Jason had a really compassionate heart. The foundation really means so much to us,” states Nancy.
